American Legion Family Hospital Association
The Minnesota American Legion Family Hospital Association was organized as a result of action taken by its fourth annual department convention in 1922 to provide financial assistance to World War I veterans requiring specialized medical care but lacking funds to pay for such care. Following World War II, the services of the association were re-appropriated to veterans of that conflict, and subsequently to veterans of the Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf War, Global War on Terror, etc.
